Latin & Ballroom Dance Party- Thu, 14 Jan 2010 11:37:13 +0800Our Latin & Ballroom Dance Party is held every Saturday (8:30-11:30pm) at the Sino-Chu Wine Bar. BEFORE each party we usually teach a basic/intermediate DANCE CLASS (7:30-8:30pm). The dance taught changes each month. Teachers generally teach in both English & Chinese. At our social dance party (8:30-11:30pm) you can dance Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Swing (Lindy, Jive & West Coast) and Disco-Hustle. Of course there is plenty of Latin dancing too -- Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, and International & Argentine Tango. While our dance party itself is FREE, there is a 30 Rmb minimum purchase requirement from the Sino-Chu. Food and drinks can be enjoyed at the tables surrounding the dance floor. For those who choose to attend our pre-party class there is an additional 30 Rmb fee, payable directly to the teacher on the night of the class. Musicians come together, in what is a new step in the evolution of the vibrant scene in Beijing. We aim to exchange ideas and styles with artists from all around the world and through the international medium of sound and color leave every participant with a deeper impression of culture, art and music.
